A Northern Light Chapter 46 Summary

This chapter takes place out of the flashback.

After Grace woke up Mattie, she hasn't been able to go back to sleep so she reads the final letter. Grace says that she will never see any of her beloved things again. She wishes she could die, Somehow she knew she wasn't coming back, she hoped he would do right by her but she knew he wouldn't, this is why she wrote about never seeing the things, people, and places again, why she was imagining coming back dead, and wanted her letters burned. Mattie second guesses burning the letters because she wants more people to hear her voice, hear her story.
