A Northern Light Chapter 26 Summary

This chapter takes place in the flashback.

Mattie was trying to impress Royal. Daisy had smashed through the fence and that gave Mattie an excuse to go see Royal. Afer he helped get Daisy and Baldwin out of the pond. Jim and Will Loomis are making fun of Royal and Mattie. He asked her if she would like to go riding with him and as soon as she said yes he turned and kissed her, then his hand slipped below he waist and she stopped him. He then told her that he wasn't playing around and that he had seen a ring if she wanted it, she said yes and kissed him. After she came back from riding she thought about if he should have said he loved her before the ring or after.
