A Northern Light Chapter 25 Summary

This chapter takes place in the flashback.

Mattie went over to Ms. Wilcox to organize the books for that weeks when she heard shouting. An angry man asking her to come home. He said that a book Threnody should have never been published, it was obscene. He threatened that he would sign him over to a doctor's care, he crashed the writing table on the floor and she ordered him out, as Mattie came inside. Ms. Wilcox then reveals that that was her husband and she was Emily Baxter, the poet.
