A Northern Light Chapter 13 Summary

This chapter takes place in the flashback.

Daisy and her calf Baldwin busted through the Loomis' fence (the 2nd time this month) and after they were scolded my Mrs. Loomis they went outside to fetch them from the cow pond. Mattie just made them go deeper, and when Royal came out, threw some rocks at the mom, they finally ran to Lou. Royal said he would walk the 2 of them home, and Lou took the cows and went on ahead until she disappeared over a hill. In the midst of their conversation he turned and kissed Mattie. Then a second time, this time closer and then put his hand up to where she felt invaded and yelled stop it. "Who are you saving it for" and laughed and turned the other direction to go home.
