A Northern Light Chapter 11 Summary

This chapter takes place when she is workign at the Glenmore.

Cook comes into the room where at least 7 of the girls working there are sleeping and orders them to tighten up, and be on their best behavior tomorrow because there are very important people coming, however she doesn't specify. Then, Ada and Mattie chat about the young man who was with grace on the boat: Is he still alive? Mattie thinks he is. and then Mattie asks Ada if she has to keep a deathbed promise, probably thinking of the letters, and Ada said that you have to keep a deathbed promise no matter what.
